Jeeze, that sucks! Your Armoire and dresser were beautiful, that's terrible that you lost them!
The photo of the white door with the burned area around the top is so scary looking. It looks like the crime scene where some monster was trying to get in and kill someone but didn't make it. I'm glad you're ok. Did they ever find out what started it?

...the only thing I "lost" in this mess was my dining room set. When I mentioned that I missed my bedroom, it's simply that I miss being in that room as I'm staying in an empty apartment right now. Luckily, my bedroom set is in tact!

LOL @ your comment about the door...it does kind of look creepy, huh??? I just keep counting my blessings because of a statement which was made that night - and that was: "five minutes more and your apartment would've been engulfed". Now mind you, that most likely still means my bedroom would have been fine unless it was SIGNIFICANTLY more than 5 minutes, but still I could've lost so much more than I did.

All we know is that there was a gas leak. What that means exactly, I'm not sure.

Oh, and thank you for saying they're beautiful. I love it. I've wanted this set for YEARS. I finally was able to afford them - unfortunately, as I mentioned, I only enjoyed them for 9 days before this happened.

FIRE SUCKS!!!

Upside you still have that beautiful bedroom set. Downside, you can only enjoy it in pictures....for now at least. I am sure that situation will change shortly.
